Learning Targets - Week of February 17th - 21st
These are our Learning Targets for this week:
SCIENCE: I can learn about the sun and ocean interaction. 5.8B
MATH: I can select and use appropriate units and formulas to measure length, perimeter, area, and volume.
I can perform simple conversions within the same measurement system (metric or customary.)
I can connect models for perimeter, area and volume with their respective formulas.
I can solve problems involving changes in temperature.
I can solve problems involving elapsed time.
(AFTER CBA)
I can identify essential attributes including parallel, perpendicular, and acongruent parts of two- and three-dimensional geometric figures.
I can identify the transformation that generates one figure fromthe other when given two congruent figures on a Quadrant I coordinate grid.
ELA: I can read and comprehend grade level text.
I can sequence events of a story.
I can compare and contrast two characters.
I can make connections with the text.
I can identify causes and effects within a text.
